Bad management

Location is good right on Orchard Road.

After reading reviews left by the previous guests, i contacted the host confirming that the apartment i'm getting is the one shown on booking.com and i got a positive reply. However, things didn't go well on the check-in day. First of all, we set the meetup time to be 7pm outside Macdonalds@lucky plaza via email well in advance. No body was there waiting for us and we had to call and wait for a good 15 - 20 mins before one of their staff came to meet us and brought us up to the apartment. Upon entering, i knew it's not the right apartment. I called the host to highlight this and only to be informed that it was 'Maria' who replied me previously and she is out of the country and there is nothing this person on the phone could do for us. The only option she gave was free cancellation but hey it's Christmas period and that was already like well past 8pm after all the delay and waiting. So we had to suck it up and go with the one given to us. During the stay, we broke one of their ikea FÄRGRIK mug that costs only $0.90. While we do understand that they will charge higher price for such thing, we didn't expect it to be $10 (more than 10 times the price). I wouldn't bring this up if it's wasn't for all the bad experiences earlier as overall we don't feel comfortable with the ways they operate and process things. Thumbs down for the management. I have been using booking.com for quite some years and this is The worst review i have given. Maybe it's a standalone case and we were just unlucky.

The benefit of the location was spoilt by the poor access and key arrangements.

The apartment was spacious and accommodated our family of 5 adults and 2 children.

Access to the apartment with all our luggage was difficult as the lift does not go to the ground floor. It Was very difficult to manage getting out of the apartment with luggage and children to our grab car on a Sunday morning. For this reason we would not stay in the apartment again. It is only for the young and fit with not much luggage. Also, We were only provided with one set of keys which limited or excursions out of the apartment separately.

Good location.

This unit had fungus growing on top of doors in kitchen.very expensive for what you get no service or contact with staff other than by phone. Door locks just a combination lock. The unit was in need of a refurbished. We paid a $200 deposit which has not been refunded.

Very nice and comfortable. Highly recommended.

Host is very accommodating and nice. We arrived very early in the morning and she was there at the back lobby of the apartment to meet us. The location is near shops and stores making it accessible to groceries and shopping.

The elevators are old and one of them is not working.

Good for big families and near MTR and malls. Need more cleaning and checking of all appliances.

The place was big and near the MTR and malls.

The place was not so clean including the bed covers. No enough towels for the guests. Daily cleaning is not being done. The TV has few channels. The aircons in the room were not cold.

Comfortable and well located in Singapore for budget conscious travellers.

This property ticked our boxes of being within our budget and being a self contained apartment. Our arrival in Singapore was delayed and our luggage didn't arrive with us, however, the host, Maria, was very helpful in working with us to arrange key collection and have us shown to the apartment. It is located in the Lucky Plaza Apartment which has a back entrance or entrance through the Luck Plaza Shopping complex. The apartment we stayed in was 18 floors up and we had a roomy accommodation with large bedrooms and a large lounge. The property was clean and comfortable for our family stay. Wifi worked very well and the air conditioning was also very good. The host arranged for us to store our bags on checkout and we were able to collect them before heading to the airport. There are plenty of taxis and the foodcourt in the Lucky Plaza provides lots of choices for local food.

There were some damaged walls in both bedrooms and some water leaking in the bathroom.

Location is smack in the middle of Orchard Rd.

Location is smack in the middle of Orchard Rd. Really easy access to multiple food halls and shops and Orchard MRT. Location could not be any more central! Apartment was spacious and airy. Comfortable for our family of 4.

We were given apartment 2402 which while it was nice, looked different to the photos in the Booking.com listing. Apartment layout was the same (2bdrm, 2 bathroom) however the decor was different. Bathroom and kitchen wasn't as newly updated as the pictures. Kitchen was supplied with a plug in induction cooktop which wouldn't work during our stay. Thankfully with so many food options nearby, we didn't need to cook in the apartment. Instructions provided via whatsapp for how to access the building after hours and to sign in with security was not very clear. Security desk is on Nutmeg Rd on the backside of the building. We had to find this out ourselves.

Good location but poor communication

Good location & clean Two toilet is a plus point

1. The toilet is a bit run down with cracks on the sink. 2. Lack of proper communication from the staffs. - Getting confirmation from the staffs on whether I can check in earlier or not was a bit frustrating as they kept replying with the same copy paste email to me that “they would like to provide but subject to availability” even though it’s just 2 days before the trip, they couldn’t confirm it with a simple yes or no - I tend to prepare for my trip in advance and always get full confirmation a week beforehand. I have requested for the check in instruction a couple of time but to no avail until 2 days before the trip. - the thing that caught me by surprise was the sudden request for $200 deposit in cash when we check in. Which is a bit upsetting because we were gonna be there for 2 days only, we didn’t have much cash with us. A prior notification would have been better.

Vorab - wir haben schon sehr viel mit Booking.com gebucht, aber mit einer Unterkunft der Bewertung 8,7 und einem Preis von 500€ für zwei Nächte, noch nie so eine ENTTÄUSCHUNG erlebt. Statt des schön dekorierten Appartements aus unserer Buchungsbestätigung, wurde uns , angeblich weil die Klimaanlage defekt war , ein anderes Appartement angeboten - nicht schön dekoriert und schmuddelig. Die auf Nachfrage angebotene Alternative war nicht besser, das gebuchte Appartement durfte uns der Mitarbeiter vor Ort nicht zeigen Auf die Frage nach einem Preisnachlass, verschwand der Mitarbeiter angeblich Richtung Management, kam aber nicht zurück und teilte uns , als wir ihn telefonisch erreichten mit, er könnte uns auf der Rückreise das Taxi zum Flughafen erstatten. Da wir nur 2 Nächte in Singapur waren , somit wenig Zeit für Sightseeing blieb und zudem der Betrag schon von unserer Karte abgebucht war , haben wir unsere Unterkunft nicht mehr gewechselt , fühlten uns aber betrogen . Für einen Bruchteil des Preises hätte man die Unterkunft akzeptieren können - so, war es eine Frechheit. Nichts von den Bildern aus dem Internet fand sich wieder stattdessen ein Duschklo ohne Duschvorhang und ohne warmes Wasser, viel Schimmel, Dreck und unzählige kleine Ameisen - Rest siehe Fotos. Noch kurz zur Lage, die war tatsächlich gut, aber das Gebäude Lucky Plaza, das einzige was negativ aus der Rolle fiel. Fazit NIE WIEDER

「立地が良くて、安く泊まれる快適なホテル」

予約していた部屋のエアコンが壊れているということで、事前に連絡を頂き、こちらのホテルからラッフルズプレイスにあるロビンソンスイーツというホテルに変更になりましたが、ラオパサというホーカーズの目の前にあり、かつ景色も良くて、素晴らしい立地でした。変更はありましたが、オーナーの方が丁寧に対応して下さったので良かったです。こちらのホテルの評価じゃなくてすみません。

部屋にあった冷蔵庫に、前の宿泊客が置いていったものが入っていたので、そういうところをもう少しきちんと掃除して頂けたらいいかなと思います。
